If I told you once, I told you two times...

Hello Stationeers and welcome to this short minisode!
It’s been a while since we’ve done one of these, about 2 years in fact, so here we are once more…
As you may know Mike+The Mechanics are currently on their Refuelled tour in the UK and Gary and I were able to bag tickets to the Nottingham show on May 8th 2023.
So presented here are our post-gig thoughts on the show. It was recorded in my car afterwards, so apologies for the sometimes dodgy sound quality.
We’ll be back soon with another episode, and I hope to have another short review for you in a week or so.

BBC Broadcasts: a special episode
by SIMON HELDREICH
Genesis have had a long and fruitful relationship with the BBC, having recorded numerous sessions both live and in the studio, and their music has been featured on many BBC radio and television programs. Some of the band's most notable BBC broadcasts include their 1972 performance at the Paris Studios, their 1980 performance at the Lyceum Theatre and their 1987 performance at Wembley Stadium.
Genesis' BBC broadcasts have been a valuable source of material for fans of the band. They provide a unique insight into the band's early years and their live performances. They are also a testament to the band's enduring popularity. Now some of those iconic performances have been released in a 5 CD, or 3 Vinyl LP, boxset. Join Simon in this special episode, as he gives his verdict on the release. Is it worth getting hold of? Or should you stick to bootlegs? And just where exactly is Knebworth anyway?

In 1985 Phil Collins was everywhere! Literally, everywhere.
Fresh off the success of Against All Odds he released his
third stu-stu-studio album in late January to a relatively
positive response. It wouldn’t last, and the press and public
would soon grow tired of Phil’s constant presence. However,
for a short time Phil was on top. No Jacket Required became
his biggest selling album and spawned three USA no.1 hits.

Meanwhile, Simon and Gary, with their guide Juan, find
themselves exploring a mysterious cave below a volcano when
an accident befalls one of the party. Who will survive the
encounter and what will be left of them afterwards? Find out
