Episode 2: Queen 2
There aren’t many bands who have had the lasting impact on music that The Beatles had. Most groups hit big for a few years then fade away into nothingness or a shadow of their former selves. Perhaps the only other band who didn’t succumb to this is Queen. But they had a slow start by comparison.
Queen 2 was a pivotal album for the band. I think you know which path they took, but this album could have been the start of something different…
Join me, Mister Monday, for this second episode as I delve into the background to the album and ask that age old question - Is This Prog?
